The Emily Franz Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. awards scholarships to the graduates of Shullsburg High School. Members of the current senior class with plans to attend a college of post secondary education of at least one year are eligible to apply. In awarding these scholarships, the Selection Committee shall take a broad view of each applicant. The student as a whole person shall be considered. Each item on the application will be reviewed and considered by the Scholarship Committee when awarding the scholarships.

In years where sufficient funds are available, the Emily Franz Memorial Fund and the Selection Committee may be able to offer a Continued Education Scholarship.  This Scholarship would be available to all past graduates of SHS who are presently enrolled in post high education or have decided to enroll in post high school education for the first time.  College graduates choosing to pursue a post-secondary degree are also qualified and are encouraged to apply.  The availability of these funds can occur at any time but notification of the availability of funds is likely to occur in December or January of each year.
